Why Dollywood’s Mobile App is a Must!

Whether you’re planning a one-time visit or you are a Season Passholder, the Dollywood App makes your park life easier. Here are the most frequently used features that I use when I’m there.

1. BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Dates and Hours:

We always try to get to the park gates first thing in the morning. One of my greatest fears is pulling up to find out that park has already been open for an hour! If you’re visiting from out of town, remember that all times are EST.

My Lists:

If you’re anything like me, I love checking off my list at the grocery store. We love to make our Dollywood list together as a family so every person has a say in what we do before we even step foot in the park. As rides, shows, shops, etc. are visited, I simply check them off just like my grocery list.

2. DURING YOUR VISIT

Filtering Rides & Attractions:

Our family of six can’t ride everything just yet. I love being able to quickly find rides that we can ALL get on. This prevents us from going to three back-to-back coasters that our youngest can’t enjoy—saving us from the heartaches and meltdowns bound to happen. You can also use this as you make your list (mentioned above).

Fastest Route Walking Directions:

I use my phone’s map to go anywhere. Instead of pulling out the paper map and arguing about how to get from Showstreet to Splinter’s, use real-time directions from the palm of your hand.

Show Details:

I love everything about this. The show times and the show duration allow us to easily decide which shows we want to see. It’s the Set Alert feature that is the icing on the cake, your phone will received a notification 30 minutes before the show so that you don’t accidentally miss it.

3. AFTER YOUR VISIT

Lost and Found:

One time my daughter apparently left her sandals at the park and we didn’t find out until we arrived at our hotel. We stumbled upon this feature as we were looking for a phone number to call! The Dollywood App is so well thought out that they knew what we needed before we did.

Insider Tip

The park has free Wi-Fi for all guests, so make sure you log onto it once you’re on property. This will allow the app to work at its best and enable you to share pictures and videos instantly on social media!
