Dollywood’s Splash Country in Pictures

With more than 30 slides on 16 attractions, Dollywood’s Splash Country does not disappoint! This award-winning water park sits on 35 beautiful acres in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. The mountainous layout provides views of nature you just can’t find at other water parks! As a photographer, I love to show off the beauty of this park.

Native flowers and trees adorn the walkways and paths making this water park truly unique.

Dollywood’s landscaping team works hard to determine locations and plant species to make this park POP with life and color!

From the thrill-seeker to the lazy river type, Dollywood’s Splash Country offers something fun for every member of your family!

Even in the heat of summer, Dollywood’s Splash Country literally has you “covered.” If your crew is needing a break from the sun, Splash Country offers several options: covered lounge chairs, Canopies and Retreats. Check the Canopies and Retreats page for the latest pricing and reservations!

Water safety is a huge priority at Dollywood and Splash Country. Rest assured your family will be watched over by their great team of certified lifeguards! On my last visit, I was truly amazed at their attentiveness and vigilance in every area of the park.

Eric Calder (Dollywood Insider 2021-Now) started shooting photography when he was in high school and fell in love with the art. After 11 years in the wedding photography business, he began searching for something more adventurous and found his new passion: amusement and theme park photography! This new hobby eventually led to the start of @between.the.parks on several social media platforms. After a visit to Dollywood in 2003, he was instantly hooked. The beauty and charm of Dollywood made it feel like a second home, and he could not wait to return! Now every chance Eric gets, he is back with camera in-hand to cover everything Dollywood has to offer. When not at Dollywood, Eric and his two teens are in South Carolina spending time with family and friends.
