Dollywood’s Festival of Nations (March 14 – April 20) has some of the most captivating entertainment from around the globe during the seasonal celebration of music, dance, art and FOOD! I had a chance to preview the new menu offerings, and my friends, you’re going to love these mouthwatering selections this year.
There will be cuisine from the following countries:
🇰🇷 South Korea
🇺🇸 United States
🇹🇹 Trinidad and Tobago
🇿🇦 South Africa
Passholder Preview Day has been circled on my calendar for months now so I can be there to try it all on the very first day. You know, for research! I love that Dollywood not only offers entrees and snacks, but also international drinks and desserts.
To aid you in your Festival of Nations visit, I have scoped out and compiled my top-five list of must-try food items:
Beef Skewers from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
-Slices of grilled, tender beef drizzled with a chimichurri sauce
Cannoli from Italy 🇮🇹
-Crispy, fried pastry dough shell filled with sweet, rich and creamy filling
Poutine from Canada 🇨🇦
-Fries served up golden and crispy, then topped with savory brown gravy and fresh cheese curds
Beef Bulgogi Nachos from South Korea 🇰🇷
-Marinated steak strips tossed in a spicy and sweet South Korean sauce topped with crispy fried wonton chips
Chicken Tikka Masala from India 🇮🇳
-Tender chunks of chicken covered in a traditional, not spicy Indian sauce served with pearled couscous
There are many great times to visit Dollywood, but it’s pretty hard to beat Festival of Nations and the food options offered. This season will bring new experiences and adventures. There is no better way to do your culinary globetrotting than from the comfort of the Smoky Mountains at Dollywood during Festival of Nations. This year, take some time to slow down and enjoy all these delicious food options. Your stomach will thank you!!
