Don’t Miss the Bubbles- Gazillion Bubble Show Aurora

Whether you’re a parent, are young yourself or are simply young at heart, you have to make plans to see Gazillion Bubble Show Aurora at Dollywood!

Returning to Dollywood for the first time in several years, this show is one of the most spectacular, mesmerizing and jaw-dropping shows in the park. Over the course of the 45-minute performance, the audience is wowed with gigantic bubbles, great quantities of bubbles, uniquely-shaped bubbles, unbelievable bubble sculptures, a laser light show and several shocking surprises I won’t ruin for you! There’s definitely something to wow every audience member and keep the crowd on the edge of their seats.

Fun Fact

A custom bubble solution is prepared for these stage performances! The secret mixture is made up of a gentle baby shampoo and dishwashing liquid. Because bubbles make their way into the audience, this safe and non-toxic method is employed so that everyone can enjoy the immersive experience.

Who performs in the show? How did the bubble artists get their start? What else is there to know about the talented family who created this show? I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing bubble artist Deni Yang to learn more about the production, the family business and what’s in store for guests in his audience.

When not performing during Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, Deni and his family (his parents, his sister and his uncle) spend most of their professional time in New York City, where they perform at least six shows per week. On top of that, The Gazillion Bubble Show’s appeal extends well beyond the stage, including TV appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” “The David Letterman Show,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “The View” and “CBS Sunday Morning.” Deni’s uncle recently performed on stages in both Las Vegas and Paris!

Not only does the Yang family perform these incredible stage acts, Deni currently holds two Guinness World Records! One is for the largest bubble (167 feet!) and another for the most people inside a bubble (181!). At some point in time, the five family members have held 18 Guinness World Records! So, where did it all begin? Deni’s mother and father started street performing before joining the circus and then eventually breaking away to perform solo acts. Currently, five family members perform across multiple international stages; at the time I was interviewing Deni his sister had just finished a performance in New York!

The Gazillion Bubble Show is truly engaging for people of all ages and interests. With all the amazing shows, new games and interactive Roadside Attractions during Dollywood’s summer festival, you’ll want to make sure to schedule time for this amazing performance.

Insider Tip

Make sure to check the Dollywood app when trip planning! Check the dates and times you can catch The Gazillion Bubbles show. Do the summer temperatures look a little hot for your young ones? Pick a show during the hottest part of the day to be entertained and cooled off!

This summer, join Deni and family in DP’s Celebrity Theater! Gazillion Bubble Show Aurora runs through Aug. 7. The show is un-bubble-lievable!
