Best Bang-For-Your-Buck Snacks

Treating yourself and your loved ones to scrumptious snacks throughout the park can be one of the big highlights of a day spent at Dollywood. But if you are the one paying for all of those yummy treats, you might be trying to figure out how to maximize the amount of snacks you can get for your crew while minimizing the cost. I’ve got some Dollywood Insider Tips for you that will help you find those value-priced snacks in the park!

1. Refillable Drink Mugs

If your family enjoys soda you will absolutely get your money’s worth by purchasing a souvenir refillable mug. One is $14.99, and there are additional price breaks for buying two or more. You can bring this mug back into the park with you for the entire season and pay .99 for any soda refills and $1.99 for any hot or frozen beverages.

2. Refillable Popcorn Buckets

Similar to the drink mugs, you can also purchase a refillable popcorn bucket for the season and refill it for just .99. My family of four routinely will get two to three buckets full of popcorn during a visit, spend just a few dollars, and all feel full and happy. It’s such a bargain!

Insider Tip

You can also get your bucket filled with pork rinds for a discount!

3. Refillable Dippin’ Dots

This is a new one for me this year, but for all your Dippin’ Dots fans out there, you can also purchase a refillable cup for the season, and get your refills for $3.99, which will save you $1.50 each time you use it.

4. Cinnamon Bread

This is perhaps the most famous sweet treat in the park, and it also happens to be a great deal! In my opinion, it’s way too much for just one person. My family of four splits just one order and we all feel like we got a good bit of that yummy goodness!

5. Apple Pie

Because you’ve been so friendly to your wallet, my last suggestion is a good-value splurge. Buy one slice of the 25-lb. apple pie from Spotlight Bakery and split it with the family. One slice ($18.99) can feed four adults. If you have small children, you can easily feed six. There’s nothing better than filling your tummy AND your bank of memories as you crowd around a good slice of {HUGE} apple pie.
