Spring is here and I am so excited about Dollywood’s new Spring Mix concert series (April 11- 29). It features three weeks of stellar performances across multiple genres. The impressive roster of Spring Mix artists have a combined 42 gold albums, 18 platinum albums, 25 Grammys, 12 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Country Music Awards, 4 American Music Association Awards, and 56 Dove Awards.
Those accolades are enough to stand on their own, but I’m going to give you my top three reasons I’m excited about Spring Mix.
As an on-air radio DJ, I have played many of these great artists over the years and cannot wait to see them in person! The series is divided into three categories: Country, Inspirational, and Classic artists.
I am most looking forward to seeing Amy Grant, Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Drifters, and The Marshall Tucker Band. I’ve seen—event met!—Amy Grant before, but I look forward to her Dollywood concert.

While all the concerts are included with your Dollywood admission, it’s a first-come, first-served opportunity UNLESS you purchase a VIP package which guarantees good seats and a few extras (like a concert lanyard and dinner and t-shirt, if you buy the dinner package). Because I have my heart set on not only being in these concerts, but also snagging a seat front and center, this is the way to go. Now I can look forward to these concerts and not stress about getting in line in time! These spots are limited, so if you want to find out more about getting a guaranteed seat, click here.
Since I’m planning to see multiple concerts, I’ll be at Dollywood at least three different days to get them all in (The Drifters and The Marshall Tucker Band are appearing on the same day). My Season Pass will pay for itself just during Spring Mix! Just think—there’s still Barbecue and Bluegrass, Summer Celebration, Harvest and Smoky Mountain Christmas Festivals to go! I’m thinking I made a wise investment for this year of show-stopping entertainment!
